About The Position

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Driver to join their Guest Services team. The driver will be responsible for maintaining vehicles, operating them safely and securely, obeying traffic laws, and maintaining patient confidentiality. This role requires the ability to drive for extended periods, push/pull carts and wheelchairs, and lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with no moving violations in the last 3 years, and 1 year of related experience are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a valid applicable state drivers license with no moving violations in the last 3 years.
1 year related experience required.
Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
Must be able to push or pull carts and wheelchairs with loads up to 500 pounds and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to drive vehicles safely in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

Maintains vehicle in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
Operates all vehicles in a safe and secure manner including strapping wheelchairs and using seat belts.
Obeys all traffic and driving laws, and related policies and procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and resident information.
