About The Position

Blarney Castle Oil Co. is seeking a Tank Wagon Driver to safely deliver fuel oil and kerosene to residential and commercial customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in precise work, values safety, and understands the importance of dependable customer service. Deliveries are local, generally within a 100-mile radius, allowing for a good work-life balance with home every night. Drivers are subject to DOT hours-of-service regulations.

Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Dependable and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Air Brake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements preferred
• Assistance programs are available to help obtain endorsements if needed

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel oil and kerosene to residential and commercial customers
• Build strong customer relationships through friendly, dependable service
• Plan routes efficiently to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow up promptly when needed
• Prioritize safety and compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept vehicle
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Focus on details to ensure safe and accurate deliveries every time
