Driver - Summer Program Bus - Martha & Mary Kids
About The Position
Martha & Mary Kids is seeking a professional Summer Program Bus Driver for a part-time position. This role is responsible for the safe transportation of School-Age Summer Program children and staff to and from field trips using a 28-passenger bus. In addition to driving, the driver will share responsibility with other team members for the supervision and safety of a small group of children at field trip destinations. The summer program operates from June 29th to August 21st, with varying hours based on field trips, estimated at approximately 20 hours per week. Martha & Mary is a non-profit, faith-based organization with a long history of providing care services and early learning programs, dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those they serve.
Requirements
- Minimum of 25 years of age.
- Possess a current Washington State CDL/Class C license.
- Proof of personal auto insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years bus driving experience with young passengers.
- Knowledge of school-age children and how to meet their needs.
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications.
