About The Position

Martha and Mary Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for senior care to join our nursing team as a medication/treatment nurse. This role involves administering routine and PRN medications and treatments in a timely manner, providing adequate monitoring of residents' conditions, and collaborating with other disciplines to support services that encourage a resident’s highest level of functioning. We offer full-time, part-time, or on-call positions with various shift options (AM, PM, NOC). Martha & Mary is a long-standing not-for-profit employer in Kitsap County, dedicated to providing quality care and a supportive environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse License required.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of and ability to deal with confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintaining perspective and a sense of humor, responding positively to changes.
  • Handling people and situations with understanding, diplomacy and tact.
  • Setting priorities and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Problem solving and ability to handle unexpected/unpredictable circumstances.
  • Initiative.
  • Must have a genuine interest in caring for the elderly and long-term care of residents.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities
