Responsible for maximizing sales and distribution within assigned territory and account base. Executes the planning, selling, delivery, marketing, merchandising, distribution and reporting functions within territory in order to accomplish performance results against objectives.

Requirements

  • 2 years sales experience or 2 years of consumer goods experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • have a valid drivers� license
  • a clean driving record.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized and able to demonstrate professional sales and administration skills.
  • Must be goal oriented and able to prioritize multiple goals and strategies.
  • Must be capable of time management, strategic planning, concise communication & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
  • be physically able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds of product regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize retail sales for your accounts through the implementation and execution of established sales, distribution, marketing, and supplier goals.
  • Develop tight & timely monthly plan to establish goals and strategically manage territory resources, talent and time.
  • Complete thorough month-end recap of actual performance results against objectives.
  • Execute against strategic pricing standards to include; competitive PTC (price to consumer), use of label, shelf, display, POS and window pricing where appropriate.
  • Responsible for designing displays and marketing at retail that meets or exceeds merchandising & retail standards. Display location in primary or high traffic flow location All products represented as per display standards All products represented available for consumer purchase All products represented in reasonable quantities Current or thematic point of sale always used Display accurately priced, and price signs placed in most visible locations Display rotated properly to ensure oldest product is available for first sale Display to be on-time or early to maximize promotional ad date windows Responsible for the installation of permanent and paper point of sale All point of sale placed is current and relevant to market place
  • Increase consumer awareness and purchase intent of brands through proactive product distribution and shelf management practices to include; professionally selling for additional space, location, traffic flow, shelf tags and facings of product.
  • Manage quality of all Red Bull SKU’s to ensure that only fresh and damage free product is available for sale and consumption. Practices first-in / first-out rotation.
  • Utilize data, marketing data, hand held & build sheet data, as well as, strategic planning to ensure proper forecasting, pre-selling and inventory levels. This maximizes effective distribution and eliminates over stock, out of stock and out of date situations.
  • All employees will conduct themselves in a manner to create a favorable impression of Beverage South (SC).
  • Take pride in your personal appearance, actions, language and attitude.
  • Be positive, show the retailers you care. Treat each one as though they are the most important one on your route, regardless of size.
  • Interact with all personnel in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the company’s sales effort however possible.
  • Ensure that all the company’s safety rules and practices are adhered to, (both personal and operational).
  • To adhere to all laws, rulings and regulations as prescribed by any regulatory agencies with jurisdiction.
  • Keep open lines of communication with all supervisory and management personnel.
  • Report market activity. What is the competition doing, price changes, change of ownership of accounts, placements gained or lost, etc.
  • Complete accurately and in a timely fashion reports requested by the General Manager, Sales Manager/Designate or Office Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance and adhere to all company and supplier dress requirements.
  • Help keep the Sales Office, POS Area, and other respective areas clean and organized. Pick up after yourself.
  • Failure to maintain a high standard of appearance, actions, language and attitude will be grounds for dismissal.
  • You are responsible for maintenance and appearance of your assigned vehicle
