Job Corps programs provide life-changing services that help young people succeed in school, obtain good jobs, excel in their chosen fields, and serve as contributing members of their communities. This role promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to ensure maximum student motivation and maintains a high degree of discipline for maximum learning. The instructor establishes rapport with students, utilizes curriculum resources, and individualizes the Driver’s Education curriculum to fit students’ experiences. Responsibilities include adequate classroom preparation, maintaining relevant lesson plans, assisting with Job Corps forms, and ensuring classroom cleanliness. The role also involves preparing reports, operating in accordance with PRH, SOP, and corporate policies, evaluating and recording student progress, assisting with inventory, communicating and modeling employability skills, maintaining accountability of staff, students, and property, adhering to safety practices, fostering a conducive environment free from harassment, and attending required staff training.
