About The Position

DMT Trucking, a specialized flatbed operation and part of the PS Logistics family, is seeking a Driver Recruiter. DMT operates over 350 trucks and nearly 500 trailers across five terminals in the eastern half of the United States. The company's mission is to operate safely, take care of employees and customers, and provide a high level of service. The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for using an applicant tracking system, cold calling, pre-screening applicants, informing them about operations and benefits, scheduling orientations, running reports, and generating leads through social media and other search engines. The role requires building relationships with flatbed drivers over the phone, maintaining a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment, being goal-driven, and meeting key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an Associates degree with a minimum of two years office related experience
• Ability to maintain a strong sense of urgency in a fast paced work environment
• Goal driven

Responsibilities

• Use applicant tracking system to respond to potential employees who meet DOT and company standards
• Cold call and respond to calls quickly
• Pre-screen potential applicants
• Inform applicants about our operations and the benefits we offer
• Schedule driver orientations and training
• Run reports such as background checks, MVR and DAC reports as well as other administrative duties
• Utilize social media platforms and other search engines to generate leads
• Build relationships with flatbed drivers over the phone
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly and monthly basis
