About The Position

The Driver Recruiter interviews, screens, and qualifies potential truck driver candidates to meet the company's staffing needs. This role collaborates closely with operations to understand hiring demands, ensures compliance with DOT standards, and delivers a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in high volume recruiting
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Sales, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in high volume recruiting
  • 2 or more years of experience with driver recruiting
  • Experience using Tenstreet ATS
  • Extensive knowledge of DOT standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the operations team to assess and forecast staffing needs
  • Review and process driver applications, conducting initial screenings based on company qualifications and DOT standards
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, maintaining a positive and professional candidate experience
  • Source candidates through various platforms, including job boards and social media
  • Ensure all activities comply with DOT regulations and internal policies
  • Prepare and manage driver qualification documentation, including background checks, MVRs, and criminal history reviews
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Tenstreet (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Utilize computer programs including Tenstreet, DriverIQ, Clearinghouse, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain availability for driver needs outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Serve as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the Koch community, customers and with the public.
  • Cross training as required.
