About The Position
West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and included a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency. We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage. Visit us online at: https://westoakshospital.com/ West Oaks Hospital is seeking a responsible, friendly, and safety conscious Driver/Patient Transportation to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Driver would be responsible for transportation at both Hornwood and Katy will transport patients to and from the clinics for scheduled appointment.as directed by the Manager, Outpatient Services, Program Therapists and Nurses to provide supervision, safety and crisis management for the patient population. To assist in the front office duties.
Requirements
- Education Required: High school diploma or GED. Current Texas driver’s license with good driving record
- Licensure and certification Required: Texas Valid Class C driver license. CPR certification and hospital de-escalation certifications.
- Experience Required: Six months of driving and customer service experience.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as a mental health worker.
Responsibilities
- Patient Transportation and errands to the hospital
- Responds to behavior crisis and assists with crisis intervention
- Assists with clerical duties and miscellaneous needs in the clinic
