About The Position

The OTR/Regional Driver will be responsible for safely operating a CDL required tractor trailer in a yard, customer’s as well as ours, also, while on the road. Components of this position include working with management to receive schedules along with following DOT and company safety policies. CDL Drivers will be required to maintain precise delivery logs and complete required paperwork.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a tractor trailer; CDLA required
• Ability to operate a tablet for ELD requirements
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Work independently and with team in fast paced environment
• Must observe all company safety policies and procedures
• Must comply with all driving rules and regulations: local, state and federal

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL required tractor trailer
• Secure the freight on the trailer
• Maintain necessary records as required by DOT, Company policy and Client
• Ensure timely pick up and deliveries
• Daily communication via telephone calls and text to management
• Performs all other duties as assigned
