About The Position

This is a part-time position responsible for driving a mobile mammography unit to various locations in NY and PA. The role involves setting up and breaking down the unit, performing daily vehicle inspections and maintenance, ensuring the unit is clean and presentable, and handling administrative duties such as patient check-in and maintaining logs.

Requirements

Experience in CDL driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile unit or tractor trailers.
Ability to safely drive and operate CDL vehicles.
Basic mechanical skills to perform daily inspections and minor troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and checklists.
Ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients.
Valid CDL A or B driving license with a clean driving record and air brake endorsement.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas.
Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Must be able to lift and carry equipment when setting up the mobile unit.
Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Drive the mobile unit to designated locations in NY and PA.
Setup and break down the mobile unit at each site in a timely and efficient manner.
Transport the mobile unit between the storage garage and Lourdes Hospital as needed.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed.
Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep.
Wash unit at the end of each day.
Clean and sanitize the mobile unit floors.
Ensure the mobile unit is safe, functional, and presentable at all times.
Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for mobile unit.
Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations.
Register and check-in patients for mammography.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.
