About The Position

The Driver III is responsible for preparing delivery routes and shipping documents, conducting DOT pre-trip vehicle inspections, and delivering products safely and efficiently. The role includes handling hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations, checking inventory, loading products for delivery and treatment routes, and completing delivery, treatment, and inspection paperwork. The driver also performs routine inspections and basic maintenance of trucks, pumps, and work areas, and loads, unloads, and processes inbound and outbound shipments. The position is based in Great Bend, Oberlin, or Oakley, with standard Monday–Friday hours and occasional overnight travel as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.
• Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Prepare delivery routes and shipping documents, and conduct DOT pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Apply knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous-material handling.
• Perform daily inventory checks and load the products needed for delivery and treatment routes.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and safety requirements.
• Accurately complete delivery records, treatment reports, inspection documents, and related paperwork.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of trucks, pumps, and work areas.
• Load, unload, and process inbound and outbound shipments.
