About The Position

Ironclad Environmental Solutions (IES) is hiring a local truck driver in Odessa, Texas. The role transports equipment used for temporary liquid and solid storage, pumping, and filtration services. Drivers work Monday through Friday and are generally home each night, though occasional overnight travel may be needed. The position involves operating heavy equipment, serving local customers, and supporting equipment delivery and pickup activities. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to company safety protocols, a pre-employment drug screen, and a background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL issued by one state or jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience, or 2 years with a truck driving school certificate; experience within the last 7 years is preferred.
• Valid Tanker Endorsement.
• At least 6 months of roll-off truck experience within the last 24 months.
• TWIC card.
• Valid medical certificate and physical qualification to drive a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder level.
• Proficiency in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.
• Ability to adhere strictly to company safety protocols and standards.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• CDL driving experience from military service is accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with roll-off or winch trucks; heavy haul experience is preferred.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• Towing experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to and from local customers.
• Survey customer property, set up equipment, and secure it on the property.
• Routinely inspect the vehicle to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep.
• Document work performed on equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Transport non-hazardous loads to and from landfills when requested.
