About The Position

The Driver II operates company vehicles, including DOT-regulated Commercial Motor Vehicles, to complete customer service routes involving pickups, deliveries, and transportation of records and other customer materials. The role supports safe and reliable route execution while maintaining strict chain-of-custody, confidentiality, customer-service, and regulatory standards. Drivers must comply with applicable federal and state transportation regulations, company safety procedures, and OSHA standards. The position includes authorized operation of powered industrial trucks and DOT-regulated company vehicles when assigned. Drivers use vans or box trucks, handheld scanners, and inventory management systems; assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials; and work at customer locations and warehouse environments. Employees must maintain required licenses, certifications, medical qualification, and an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Must meet driver qualification standards under 49 CFR Part 391 when operating DOT-regulated vehicles.
Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screening in accordance with federal regulations.
Must maintain a current, valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Powered Industrial Truck certification is required; certification is offered upon hire.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
Demonstrated safe driving history and commitment to defensive driving and roadway safety.
Ability to interact professionally with customers and represent the company positively.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and chain-of-custody standards when handling customer materials.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous route driving, delivery, or transportation experience.
Experience working in warehouse, logistics, or records management environments.
Experience operating commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles, including DOT-regulated Commercial Motor Vehicles, for assigned service routes.
Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for pickups, deliveries, and other service needs.
Operate authorized powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate and comply with applicable Hours-of-Service requirements.
Immediately report on- or off-duty accidents, citations, inspections, and changes in license status.
Use handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
Meet established productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards.
Maintain customer confidentiality and chain-of-custody procedures while handling and transporting materials.
Interact professionally with customers and accurately fulfill service requests.
Assist team members with loading, unloading, staging, and other operational needs.
Follow operational protocols, company safety procedures, and OSHA standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
