About The Position

Med Resources, a provider of respiratory and home medical equipment, is seeking a reliable and highly motivated Driver/HME Technician. The role delivers and sets up durable medical equipment for patients, demonstrates equipment use, maintains patient and service documentation, and supports warehouse operations when not making deliveries. The position is based at the Med Resources facility in Covington, Georgia, and requires working a Tuesday–Saturday shift.

Requirements

• Have insurance and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be able to lift and move heavy medical equipment and pass a 50-pound lift test.
• Be able to read maps.
• Have strong communication and customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be DOT certified or able to become DOT certified; certification is provided after hire.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Be willing to work a Tuesday–Saturday shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices, using company vans.
• Help set up equipment and demonstrate its use while ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
• Assist the warehouse team as needed, including unloading and restocking the assigned van, cleaning and checking equipment, and performing general warehouse duties.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, patients, and caregivers about delivery schedules and special needs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report maintenance issues, and keep the assigned van neat and organized.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
