About The Position

The Driver Helper is responsible for loading, securing the load, and unloading merchandise from loading docks and trucks at specified locations. This role involves pre-inspection of the truck before departure and requires the ability to quickly learn merchandise and documents used in store-to-store transfers and third-party shipments. The position also includes checking daily assignments, maintaining excellent customer relations, and working in a fun environment with new equipment.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.
Flexibility for long haul assignments
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 30 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
