About The Position

This program requires a 2-year commitment to Cross-Border Driving. Requirements

• Must hold a MELT certified Class 1/AZ license, obtained with the last 6 months
• Must live within a one-hour commute of our Mississauga Terminal
• Must be eligible to enter the United States and have the necessary border-crossing documents
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must have held a valid Canadian Class 5/G License for a minimum of 1 year
• Have had no preventable accidents within the past year
• Have had no more than two moving violations within the previous two years; this includes speeding, improper moves, seatbelt fines, etc.
• Must be eligible for a FAST card

Responsibilities

• Required to be on the road 5 to 10 days at a time
• Required to be available for dispatch 24 days a month including, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
• Required to sign a 2-year contract
