About The Position

Paradise Valley Hospital is hiring a Driver/Courier for medical transport. The role operates a vehicle to safely transport patients to and from various destinations and assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles as needed. The driver coordinates with other departments to provide patients with the highest level of service and performs semi-skilled trades and general vehicle-related maintenance duties as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Class C driver's license when driving vehicles with fewer than 10 seats, or current Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement when driving vehicles with more than 10 seats.
• No DUI or reckless-driving violation in the past three years, and maintain an average of fewer than three points at all times.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle to safely transport patients to and from various destinations.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles as necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide maximum service to patients.
• Perform semi-skilled trades and general maintenance duties as directed for vehicle operation.
