About The Position

Redwood Terrace, a premier Life Plan Community located in Escondido, CA, is hiring a full-time Driver to join our team! The Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. The Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents, team members, and visitors of the community. This role works as a member of the Resident Services team to deliver excellence in hospitality and customer service. The Driver is responsible for assisting with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation within the community. Transports residents in cars, trams, buses, and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities; provides assistance to the residents; and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s).

Requirements

• One year’s driving experience required
• Valid California driver’s license with a favorable driving record
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement is required
• Must successfully pass an FMCSA Clearinghouse query for Class B CDL drivers

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities
