About The Position

Naniq is seeking safe, dependable, and customer-focused drivers to join our team. Join a team where safety, reliability, and respect for drivers come first. You'll deliver freight throughout the Kona area while working with an experienced dispatch and operations team that helps keep your day running smoothly. As the face of Naniq, you'll play an important role in ensuring freight is delivered safely, accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Current DOT Medical Card
Class B CDL or Hawaii Class 4 License required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Delivery, transportation, or commercial driving experience preferred
Strong safety, communication, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight
Deliver freight accurately and on schedule
Scan, verify, and document shipments
Load and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniques
Use hand trucks and ramps to safely off-load deliveries
Complete assigned routes and adjust for delays as needed
Ensure freight is secure and protected during transit
Complete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery records
Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety requirements
Report equipment issues, delays, and delivery concerns in a timely manner
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and coworkers
Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained
Assist with warehouse duties, including loading, organizing, and staging freight
