About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring full-time Class B Truck Drivers at its Oakland, California Service Center. As a City Pickup and Delivery (P&D) Driver, you will deliver and pick up freight throughout the city and return to the terminal daily. The work involves multiple stops per day, using scan equipment, serving customers directly, and making potential liftgate deliveries with an electric pallet jack and/or dolly. Drivers are home every day. The role pays $36.24 per hour and offers various shifts Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• CDL Class B license.
• Good driving record/MVR.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Nice To Haves

• Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns.
• Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight in the city.
