About The Position

Hope Network is hiring a Driver/Chauffeur to safely transport passengers while providing excellent customer service and representing the organization’s mission. The role involves assisting passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort, maintaining vehicles and records, and communicating with dispatch and customer care. Routes are local, with employees home daily. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s License, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist passengers as needed.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to comply with HIPAA standards.
• Passion for safety and providing excellent customer service.
• Comfort following traffic laws, procedures, and safety rules.
• Friendly, reliable, and a strong communicator.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bus driver, shuttle driver, rideshare driver, or chauffeur.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Hope Network vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist passengers, ensure they are secured, and provide a safe, comfortable ride.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel vehicles as needed, and complete daily logs and reports.
• Follow emergency procedures and passenger safety rules.
• Communicate with dispatch and customer care using a two-way radio.
• Represent Hope Network with professionalism and kindness.
