Driver - CDL A
About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. The driver generally operates a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural conditions. The role requires safe driving in tight settings, including construction zones, and may involve working indoors or outdoors as required by the job. The position involves customer interaction and may require troubleshooting and making minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites. The physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a CDL license.
- Acceptable driver's record.
- Ability to drive safely in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight construction zones.
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Customer service attitude.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
- Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment, tools, and supplies to customer worksites.
