About The Position

The Local (Class A) CDL Driver safely operates company vehicles on local routes to transport goods to customer locations, complying with DOT regulations and company policies. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, proper cargo securement, and customer service. Drivers use flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers and may load and unload materials. The position involves extended periods of driving and sitting, outdoor weather exposure, and regular physical activity such as climbing, bending, and securing loads. Drivers may work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
