About The Position

Local CDL A drivers serve Central and Western Ohio, New York, and West Virginia from Philadelphia distribution hubs. This is a drop-and-hook freight function in which drivers do not touch the shipment. Drivers must store the vehicle and container legally and securely. Drivers reset their clocks weekly with a 34-hour stay at home, generally over the weekend but sometimes during the week. Sunday-through-Friday or Monday-through-Saturday shifts provide the most road time.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• At least 3 months of driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record.
• Must have no accidents in the last 5 years.
• Must have no more than two accidents or fines in the past 5 years.
• Must have no tickets within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes serving Central and Western Ohio, New York, and West Virginia from Philadelphia distribution hubs.
• Store the vehicle and container legally and securely.
• Perform drop-and-hook freight work without touching the shipment.
• Complete a weekly 34-hour home reset.
