About The Position
This is an applicant pool for Part-time Drama/Theater Arts Associate Instructor positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications, which include specific degree requirements in drama, theater arts, or performance, or equivalent experience. Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds is also required. Requirements
- Master’s degree or master of fine arts degree in drama, theater arts, or performance; OR bachelor’s degree or bachelor of fine arts degree in any of the above AND master’s degree in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature, or humanities; OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area. OR the equivalent.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
