About The Position

Any Hour Services is a family-owned residential service company specializing in plumbing, electric, heating, and air conditioning. The company has served homes since 1961 and offers year-round, consistent work and advancement opportunities. The Drains Service Technician responds to homeowners and business owners to diagnose and resolve drain problems from start to finish. The role combines technical service with customer care, including explaining work and treating customers well. This is a full-time, field-based position with travel to residential and commercial job sites.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in drain cleaning or plumbing service.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to work in confined spaces, outdoors, and varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and operate heavy equipment.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Completion of plumbing-related training.

Responsibilities

Perform drain cleaning using cable machines, hydro-jetting, and other industry tools.
Diagnose and resolve blockages, backups, and slow drains.
Provide upfront pricing and estimates and obtain customer approval before starting work.
Document job notes, photos, and parts used.
Educate customers about preventive maintenance and proper drain care.
Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and other technicians to keep jobs on schedule.
Follow safety protocols, company policies, and local plumbing codes.
