About The Position

CRC Enterprises Inc is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. In this role, you will be designing projects from the planning phase to final design, with an ultimate goal of quick and efficient permit acquisition for construction.

Requirements

Experience in the preparation of Site Drainage, and Erosion Control Plans
Experience with Low Impact Development
Experience with Standard Urban Stormwater Mitigation Design and Document Preparation
Experience with Floodplain Certifications
Experience with Design Storm Drain Capacity Calculations
Design experience including a working knowledge of floodplain regulations
Capability to dynamically model stream capacities, flood extents, and stage-storage routing of infiltration designs
Expertise in Hydrology and Hydraulic System design and calculations for onsite storm drain systems
Ability to address Stormwater Quantity
Ability to provide calculations for LID and USMP requirements
Agency experience with Caltrans, FEMA, Army Corps of Engineers, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, Los Angeles County, Ventura County, City of Santa Clarita, and other local Agencies.

Responsibilities

Design projects from the planning phase to final design.
Achieve quick and efficient permit acquisition for construction.
Prepare Site Drainage, and Erosion Control Plans.
Incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) principles.
Perform Standard Urban Stormwater Mitigation Design and Document Preparation.
Obtain Floodplain Certifications.
Perform Design Storm Drain Capacity Calculations.
Design hydrological systems including a working knowledge of floodplain regulations.
Dynamically model stream capacities, flood extents, and stage-storage routing of infiltration designs.

Address Stormwater Quantity.
