Hoffmann Brothers is seeking an experienced Drain Professional in St. Louis to operate drain cleaning equipment, hydro jetting equipment, install and remove water heaters, and work on various fixtures including toilets and sump pumps. This role involves working with various tools in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with hand and power tools
  • Experience with drain cleaning equipment
  • General knowledge of safe working practices and federal/state OSHA requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydro jetting equipment
  • Ability to install and remove water heaters

Responsibilities

  • Operate drain cleaning equipment
  • Utilize a jack hammer, rotary hammer, shovels, etc. for the use of exaction for repairs
  • Digging/cutting/drilling holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipe
  • Measuring, cutting, threading and assembling new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports
  • Diagnose and repair toilets, simple fixtures, sump pumps
  • Communicate with customers in a clear, confident manner throughout the entire service so that they are aware what is going on inside their home/business
  • Adjust communication to provide the best customer experience possible
  • Create detailed job notes in the customer’s account for future reference
  • Teach and learn by sharing thoughts/experiences with coworkers in meetings and one-to-one interactions
  • Try new ideas and recommend process improvements to your manager with the objective of improving efficiency/effectiveness
  • Communicate frequently with dispatchers so that they know the status of each job for scheduling purposes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace both in a customer’s property and your company vehicle
  • Work safely and help ensure that those you work with are working in a safe manner
