About The Position

Wayne Homes is hiring a Draftsperson to help bring custom homes to life by finalizing homeowner customizations on existing floorplans. The role works closely with salespeople, learns to read contracts, and helps ensure plans reflect agreed expectations. The Draftsperson uses CAD design software, primarily AutoCAD, and develops knowledge of the construction process while meeting scheduled deadlines for completed prints.

Requirements

Be detail oriented.
Be able to multitask.
Be comfortable working both in groups and independently.
Be self-motivated.
Have excellent computer skills.
Have previous experience with CAD software.

Nice To Haves

Residential construction experience or knowledge.

Responsibilities

Modify floorplans using mark-ups and contract descriptions.
Work with salespeople to execute customizations.
Learn and use CAD design software, primarily AutoCAD.
Continuously learn about the different elements of the construction process.
Meet scheduled deadlines for completing prints.
