Drafter
About The Position
Prince Service & Manufacturing is seeking an ethical, customer-focused, flexible problem solver who works well with limited supervision and demonstrates strong concentration and attention to mathematical detail. The Drafter prepares technical drawings of machinery, robotics, and other mechanical devices, typically using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Deadlines are important, and the role may require working more than 40 hours per week as deadlines approach. The position is based in Macon, Georgia, on first shift. Requirements
- Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing operations and techniques.
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and customer requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills.
- Ability to work well with little supervision and maintain concentration and mathematical accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
- Create detailed piece-part drawings that meet Engineering standards.
- Review engineering designs for manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness.
- Generate CAD drawings and bills of materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
