Drafter
About The Position
Prince Service & Manufacturing is hiring a Drafter to prepare technical drawings of machinery, robotics, and other mechanical devices, typically using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The role requires working accurately and independently, with strong concentration and attention to mathematical and other details. Deadlines are especially important, and the posting notes that workweeks may exceed 40 hours as deadlines approach. The position is based in Macon, Georgia, and is scheduled for first shift. Requirements
- Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing operations and techniques.
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and customer requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills.
- Ability to work well with little supervision and maintain excellent concentration.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
- Create detailed piece-part drawings that meet Engineering standards.
- Review engineering design work for manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness.
- Generate CAD drawings and bills of materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
