Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience or an Engineering or Technical degree combined with a minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • High level of drafting literacy; 3D solid modeling and CADD experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to Read & Comprehend piping schematics/Process & Instrumentation Diagrams of chemical piping systems.
  • Ability to work on your own, bring forth new innovations, think through problems and provide proactive solutions.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Professional individual.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical experience a plus but not required.
  • Solid Edge experience.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Electrical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design systems and manage projects from conception to completion as assigned by Project Engineering Manager.
  • Create, provide, and clearly communicate information with all appropriate departments to complete the drawings/project as originally proposed while minimizing rework.
  • Review scope with Project Engineering Manager, Design Engineer, and Project Managers to maintain project deadlines.
  • Prepare any "As-Built" documentation and/or drawing files that may be required for project completion.
  • Review, create, and complete submittals and Operating Manuals for various projects.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • Punctual attendance.
  • Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner.
  • Accomplish goals, meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Support Client, Company, and Team.
  • Maintains company confidentiality.
  • Other duties as required to attain company goals.
