About The Position

Drafting design and installation drawings of C5ISR systems for NAWCAD WOLF. This position is contingent upon funding.

Requirements

• High School diploma / General Education Development (GED) and 2 years of specialized formal vocational training or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in drafting and design technology, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Engineering CAD Technology, or an AAS degree in a related drafting discipline
• At least one year of hands-on experience
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following software applications: PTC Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• U.S. Citizenship
• U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level

Responsibilities

• Drafting design and installation drawings of C5ISR systems for NAWCAD WOLF
• Identifying, analyzing, and generating specifications for the development of technical documentation and engineering drawings tailored to the requirements of a task
• Interpreting engineering data gathered from field inspections, on-site inspections, site surveys, engineering notes, sketches, blueprints, and photographs in order to create required technical documentation packages
• Using electronic schematics to obtain information as to maximum size, and from manuals giving dimensions of standard parts, determining the arrangement and preparing drawing of printed circuit boards
