About The Position

Draft Technicians install, repair, and maintain on- and off-premise draft accounts. They also set up temporary draft systems for special events such as beer and music festivals. The role operates at customer accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work, and involves local travel. Days and hours vary and may include weekends. The position reports to the Draft Manager and is classified as non-exempt.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
At least 21 years of age.
At least six months of merchandising experience.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and service draft accounts in a timely manner as directed by the manager.
Provide bids to retail accounts for services, including billing and collection for maintenance.
Assist with, prepare for, and participate in special events.
Bid, bill, and collect for service work and deliveries.
Assist sales teams with troubleshooting, servicing existing accounts, repairs, and maintenance.
Handle point-of-sale activities and merchandising.
Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and other work contacts.
Occasionally taste products as required.
