About The Position

Draft Technicians install, repair, and maintain on- and off-premise draft accounts. They also set up temporary draft systems for special events, such as beer and music festivals. The role serves accounts mostly indoors, with occasional outdoor work, and involves local travel in the Anchorage area, including Wasilla, Palmer, and as far as Talkeetna. Days and hours vary and may include weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
At least 21 years of age.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, and use arms, wrists, hands, and grasp.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
Ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
Ability to work with tools.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical understanding is beneficial.
Draft experience preferred.
Merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned Columbia draft lines on a biweekly basis.
Install, troubleshoot, and service draft accounts in a timely manner as directed by the manager.
Provide bids to retail accounts for services, and handle billing and collection for maintenance.
Assist with, prepare for, and participate in special events.
Bid, bill, and collect for service work and deliveries.
Assist sales teams with troubleshooting, servicing existing accounts, repairs, and maintenance.
Provide point-of-sale and merchandising support to the sales team.
Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and others encountered through the job.
