When assigned, manages casino cage employees settling banks and performing financial transactions for customers consistent with internal controls, policies and procedures and guest service standards. The Dual Rate Shift Manager Cage will work an entire shift as either a Supervisor Cashiering or Shift Manager Cage. If the employee is needed to work an additional shift within the same day, they may dual rate up/down to the Shift Manager Cage/Supervisor Cashiering position only after a shift close out has occurred. When assigned, manages cage cashiers, assisting with guest interactions and transactions as needed as well as the operations and settlement of banks within the department. Responds to guest issues, concerns and complaints in a courteous manner. Maintains confidentiality of all guests’ records and transactions. Writes and submits shift and other reports required to document shift activity such as customer complaints, worker and guest injuries and security incidents. Ensures compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations. Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs. Performs all other duties as assigned.
