About The Position

Performs professional outreach work as directed by the Economic Development Department. Serves as a key point of contact for Downtown Orlando businesses and community members seeking information and resources. Responsibilities include developing and implementing outreach initiatives to foster strong connections, overseeing the day-to-day operations of Downtown Orlando's visitor information center and retail store, and developing and executing special projects and programs to engage with the local community, and supervising staff. Work is performed independently and reviewed by the Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency's (DDB/CRA) Marketing & Communications Manager through regular meetings and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or related field
  • Two (2) years of business outreach experience
  • One (1) year of experience in a progressively responsible lead or supervisory capacity
  • Some customer service experience
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Must pass background check which includes a polygraph

  • Accounting knowledge is preferred
