About The Position

At US Foods, we are proud to support military talent as they transition to civilian careers. Through our SkillBridge partnership, service members gain valuable hands-on experience, expand their professional networks, build new skills, and explore career pathways across a variety of business functions. This opportunity is exclusively available to active-duty U.S. military service members approved to participate in the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program and who are within their final 12 months of military service. This internship is unpaid and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits. Participants remain active-duty military personnel throughout the program and continue to receive their military pay and benefits from the U.S. military.

Responsibilities

• Learn about operations within a national foodservice distribution organization
• Participate in leadership development and professional growth opportunities
• Support business initiatives, projects, and day-to-day operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
• Develop skills related to communication, problem solving, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Gain exposure to business processes, technology, customer service, logistics, supply chain, people leadership, and other corporate functions
• Build professional relationships and learn about civilian career pathways
• Receive coaching, mentorship, and feedback from business leaders
