About The Position

Manages the Louisiana DOTD Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) program, overseeing its implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Coordinates with DOTD leadership, LaGov, district administrators, and field personnel to support system operations, reporting, and performance management. Administers the Agile Assets Level of Service (LOS), Trade Off Analysis, and Mobile Work Manager (MWM) applications while working independently with minimal supervision and participating in ongoing training and professional development. While in official capacity, DOTD employees must comply with applicable Louisiana and Civil Services laws, rules and regulations, as well as DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.

Requirements

  • Six years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, human resources, financial operations, information technology, risk management, policy planning, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, human resources, financial operations, information technology, risk management, policy planning, or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, human resources, financial operations, information technology, risk management, policy planning, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree plus two years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, human resources, financial operations, information technology, risk management, policy planning, or administrative services.
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees the statewide Maintenance Management System (Agile Assets and LaGov Plant Maintenance), developing policies, procedures, standards, and documentation to ensure consistent and accurate maintenance operations across all DOTD districts.
  • Administers and supports Agile Assets applications, including the Level of Service (LOS), Trade Off Analysis, and Mobile Work Manager (MWM) modules, ensuring accurate data management, system implementation, reporting, and performance-based budgeting.
  • Provides statewide training, technical guidance, and user support to DOTD district and headquarters personnel while collaborating with LaGov, leadership, and field staff to improve system functionality, validate maintenance data, and implement program enhancements.
