About The Position

The Sales Specialist 5 is responsible for possessing in-depth knowledge of Poly/Collaboration products and services, building strong client relationships, developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new customer value opportunities, streamlining the sales process, providing accurate sales forecasts, delivering persuasive sales presentations, sharing expertise with junior team members, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies, and staying current with sales technologies. This role requires a unique mastery and recognized authority on collaboration solutions, contributing to innovative principles and ideas, and operating in complex disciplines. The Sales Specialist 5 will provide highly innovative solutions, lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects, and act as a functional manager within their area of expertise.

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.

  • Utilizes specialized knowledge to identify new customer value opportunities and expand existing ones in collaboration with account managers.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provides accurate sales forecasts to assist in resource allocation and business planning.
  • Delivers persuasive and effective sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing how the organization's offerings can solve specific problems and add value to their business.
  • Shares expertise and best practices with junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their sales goals.
  • Ensures that all sales activities adhere to industry regulations and organization policies.
