About The Position

Operate a Class 8 tractor-trailer as part of O’Reilly Auto Parts’ company fleet, delivering merchandise safely, accurately, and on time to store locations. This position involves overnight route delivery on dedicated routes, full-pallet deliveries with low-touch freight, and use of a modern fleet of tractors and trailers. Requirements

Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbooks, and vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and valid DOT physical status.
Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
Possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
Maintain the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
Use electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to complete deliveries within set timeframes.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
Secure loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; verify deliveries and manage returned merchandise.
Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
