About The Position

This role involves performing DOT-certified drug and alcohol collections, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict guidelines. Responsibilities include specimen collection, proper documentation, transportation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to travel within Palm Beach County.

Requirements

Current certification to perform DOT drug and alcohol collections.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work in a busy lab and travel to client locations throughout Palm Beach County.

Responsibilities

Accurately and timely collection of specimens following DOT guidelines.
Conduct random and emergency observed urine collections for same-sex donors.
Collect specimens for drug screenings and additional services.
Complete and accurately fill out Chain of Custody (COC) and Alcohol Testing Forms.
Properly label and package specimens for transport, ensuring the correct forms are used.
Upload, fax, and mail COC and Alcohol Testing Forms within 24 hours.
Dispatched to onsite collections & events.
Safely and promptly transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to designated destinations.
Maintain detailed records of each specimen collected and support record deletion processes as directed.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and donors.
Follow DOT Guidelines for Breath Alcohol and Urine collections.
Maintain collection logs, accuracy logs, calibrations, and certifications.
Correct any collection errors within 24 hours.
Submit accurate time and travel logs as required by management.
