About The Position

We are looking for a Speakeasy Doorperson to join our team at the historic Lake Geneva Maxwell Mansion & Boutique Hotel. This role ensures the safety and security of all our guests and staff while ensuring our guests and customers have a positive and unique experience. In addition, this role will serve as a Barback as required by the business. This role requires previous guest service experience and the ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including handling guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results while maintaining composure and clearly identifying threats and when guests should not be served any further alcoholic beverages. Must be comfortable checking identification and ensuring capacity limits are being followed, be able to lift more than 50 lbs, constantly be on your feet, standing for long periods of time, be creative, help the team where help is needed throughout the property, keep a clean work area, and have a superior customer service-driven approach. A flexible schedule is required and must be available for nights and weekends.

Requirements

Previous guest service experience.
Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
