About The Position
White Elephant Aspen is seeking a polished, professional, and proactive Full-Time Doorman/Bell Captain to lead the guest arrival experience and oversee bell/door operations at our luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Aspen. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you’ll be essential in setting the tone for a five-star stay—from welcoming arrivals with warmth and professionalism to coordinating flawless departures.
Requirements
- Prior experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in bell/door or valet operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills
- Knowledge of Aspen’s layout, local services, and seasonal events
- Ability to lift luggage (up to 50 lbs) and work in winter/summer outdoor conditions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch guest environment
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests upon arrival and assist with luggage, transportation, and directions
- Supervise and support bell staff and valet team during your shift
- Ensure seamless coordination with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping
- Anticipate guest needs, offer local recommendations, and elevate the arrival/departure experience
- Maintain hotel entrance appearance, guest flow, and safety protocols
- Support guests in Aspen-specific needs: ski storage, high-altitude awareness, and seasonal services
