Door Line Assembler - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Door Line Series Assembler - 2nd Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule is Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm, with overtime needs varying daily during the busy season. This role offers a starting hourly range of $18.50/hr plus a $3/hr shift differential, with opportunities for annual pay increases. The position involves operating and setting up production equipment, manually fabricating window and door screens, installing screen cloth, and palletizing finished goods. Success in this role requires performing quality checks with strong attention to detail, working efficiently with team members to meet production targets, following all safety procedures, and maintaining dependable attendance.
Requirements
- Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities
- Operate and set up production equipment.
- Manually fabricate window and door screens and install screen cloth.
- Palletize finished goods.
- Perform quality checks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly report existing or potential hazards to the supervisor or team lead.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
