Position Summary: Donor Services Supervisors have direct supervision of all hourly staff who have access to the Attended Donation Center (ADC). They have responsibility with regard to total ADC supervision on a daily basis to meet the needs of the site and its donors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three years related experience in supervision or management with proven incremental supervisory advancement
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus
  • Valid First-Aid/ CPR card which meets OSHA and WISHA standards (may be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets.
  • Ability to create and manage departmental budget.
  • Knowledge and comfort using a computer, mouse, keyboard, 10-key, and touchscreen.
  • Ability to move through various screens in multiple software and use web-based platforms with ease.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population
  • Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics.
  • Ability to write creatively and articulately with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities
  • Ensure that the site is maintained at or above an acceptable level
  • Ensure the LP Audits are maintained at an acceptable level
  • Oversees supply management and ordering processes to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Ability to delegate work to appropriate employees.
  • Ensures building and functions are properly maintained; submits and monitors maintenance requests
  • Ensure security and safety systems are in working order, including but not limited to door locks, alarms, and incident reports
  • Be active in interviewing and onboarding new employees by following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines.
  • Serves as the security "captain" for assigned site location - works in cooperation with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets from internal and external theft.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers.
