Donor Services Intern
About The Position
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in Information Technology, business systems, data analytics, and end-user support within a collaborative nonprofit environment. The IT Intern will gain exposure to real-world technology projects, enterprise applications, data reporting, process improvement initiatives, and help desk operations while working alongside experienced IT professionals. Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience with enterprise technology platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365.
- Develop troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills through end-user support.
- Learn how data is collected, analyzed, reported, and used to support business decision-making.
- Build process improvement and documentation skills through workflow mapping and technology optimization projects.
- Collaborate with professionals across multiple departments, gaining valuable exposure to nonprofit operations and business processes.
- Strengthen project management, communication, and analytical skills while contributing to meaningful initiatives.
- Data entry, analysis and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
- Business process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Process mapping and workflow development using flowcharts and other business analysis tools.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through technology solutions.
- Microsoft Power BI reporting and data visualization.
- Microsoft Power Automate workflow creation and process automation.
