The Donor Relations Coordinator works under the direction of the Donor Relations Director in providing assistance to current and potential donors, relationship building with internal and external constituents, and collaborating with Foundation team members. This role requires becoming well-versed in hospital services and amenities, providing administrative support to the Donor Relations team, and offering tours and collateral packets to prospective and existing donors. The position also involves writing, editing, and producing professional correspondence, ensuring a high-quality donor experience with empathetic problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility. A polished demeanor is essential for meeting with high-end donors and prospective donors. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, with experience in Raiser’s Edge being preferable. The role includes maintaining accurate database entries, managing calendars for the Donor Relations team, preparing monthly expense reports, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to deliver results under tight deadlines. The coordinator must be detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Participation in a monthly call rotation, support for special projects and events, and performing other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
