About The Position
Grifols is seeking a Donor Center Technician to work in a plasma center. The role conducts pre-donation medical screening, assesses donor suitability, and helps prepare donors for the donation process. The technician interacts with donors, responds to their needs, provides appropriate feedback to candidates who are ineligible to donate, ensures screening information is complete, and protects donor confidentiality. Training is provided. The work involves a dynamic environment and handling sensitive information with diverse groups.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Superior customer service standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
- Patience, ability to handle multiple tasks, and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information.
- Ability to perform a wide range of complex tasks amid variable demands and changing conditions.
- Ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups.
- Meet the role’s physical and sensory demands, including standing or sitting for an entire shift, frequent hand and foot movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and essential hearing and vision capabilities.
